Martial Arts Club
For the first four weeks of training and to give new students time to decide whether they are enjoying their classes and wish to continue their training by officially joining Fighting Fit the training costs are as follows:-
£4.00 per session for juniors (up to the age of 14).
£5.00 per session for adults (aged 14 and over).
After four weeks of training we ask students to pay monthly. This ensures that your space at the club is kept available for you and also saves on administration and queuing times at the beginning of each lesson. There is no direct debit required (although this can be arranged if you find it easier). It is simply paying cash or cheque on a set day of each month. Costs are as follows:-
FOR JUNIORS (aged under 14 years) :-
£20.00 per month to train for one lesson per week, or
£25.00 per month to train more than one lesson per week. (This can include up to nine sessions per week!)
FOR ADULTS (aged 14 years and over) :-
£25.00 per month to train for one lesson per week, or
£30.00 per month to train more than one lesson per week. (This can include up to four lessons per week).
INSURANCE / MEMBERSHIP :-
Every student is required to have their own Public Liability Insurance to protect themselves and others in the event of injury, damage, etc. This insurance is provided through Fighting Fit's own insurance company and includes full membership to Fighting Fit. The insurance premium is payable after four training lessons.
Junior Insurance (renewable annually) - £25.00
Adult Insurance (renewable annually) - £30.00

Fighting Fit has specially adapted lessons for children aged from about 4 years and up and has been teaching these in Bury St Edmunds and Thetford for twenty-five years.
We are now having the best kind of feedback in that some of the children we taught many years ago are now bringing their own children to us!
Our youngsters are taught not just Tae-Kwon-Do - they learn how to be more confident, work as a team, how to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle and how to defend themselves against bullies. They make lots of friends and their fitness levels are greatly improved.
In addition to the Tae-Kwon-Do techniques, the children can take part in soft weapons, wrestling, an excellent Merit Badge system including reading and mathematics badges, First Aid and Child Protection and lots, lots more.
Beginners should just come along in tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt. No footwear is needed indoors (although in the summer months we have the opportunity to train outside on the field so trainers are advisable then) and they need to bring a drink. Parents are more than welcome to spectate throughout the lesson if they prefer can drop their child off in the training hall and collect them at the end.
